NATIONAL CADETS CORPS(NCC)

 

The National Cadet Corps is statutory organization functioning under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Over the last six decades, the corps has evolved itself into the biggest uniform youth organizations in the world crossing all boundaries of caste, creed, sex and society symbolizing state motto of “unity and discipline”. The corps aims in developing qualities of leadership, character building and good citizenship amongst the youth of our country.

For overall development of students and to inculcate qualities by virtue of which they can face life in better way, one NCC unit for Boys and one for Girls are functioning under 1 HP NCC BN Solan in the College. Besides all NCC activities, the unit helps in spreading the message of anti - ragging in formal and informal meetings. All regular students can join NCC by filling the enrolment form which can be obtained from the NCC offices. During this training they can obtain 'BEE and CEE certificates. Apart from weightage given to NCC for admission in post graduate courses, there are many other benefits in joining NCC.
